Minutes of the Academic Policies Committee
for October 23, 2000

The October 23, 2000 meeting of the Academic Policies Committee was called to order in CA 136 at 12:05 P.M. by E. Zepp, Chair. Also attending were members M. Gurtman, D. Kaufman, R. Lott, F. Mueller, J. Ostheimer, M. Power, and S. Thomas and guests J. Goodyear and K. Schayer.

The minutes of the Oct. 9, 2000 meeting were approved as distributed by e-mail.

The draft internship program policies and procedures document was discussed. In particular, specific orientation issues and a form request for an internship (prior to registration) were suggested.

Changes to the experiential learning document were suggested. Further questions/suggestions should be circulated by committee members.

Next meeing will be Nov. 6 at 12:00 P.M.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:52 P.M.
