Minutes of the Athletic Board Meeting
for December 02, 2009

 

Present:  Barber, Leicht, Duchene, Walasek, Falk-Day, Crowley, Cloutier

 

1. Falk-Day updated the Board regarding the legal status of a member of the Men’s Varsity Basketball Team.  His next court date is December 18, so no further change has occurred regarding his eligibility yet.
2. The Board discussed the eligibility of a potential transfer student in spring 2010.  Falk-Day proposed that the student be allowed to practice and be eligible for financial aid, if the student earns a minimum GPA of 2.5 for fall semester 2009 at his current campus.  The board approved the motion.
3. Falk-Day and the board discussed personnel and staffing issues.
