Minutes of the Committee on Academic Planning
for May 27, 2003

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 1:05pm by Timothy Fossum, Chair. Present in addition were Walter Feldt, Michele Gee, Eugene Goodman, Joann Goodyear, David Holmes, and Gary Wood, members, and Donald Cress, invited guest.

1. The Committee considered Position Authorization Requests (PARs) from the departments of Communication, Geography, Health Physical Education & Athletics, History, Mathematics, Psychology, and Sociology/Anthropology, in discussion with Dean Cress. The Committee agreed to recommend to the Provost that PARs from Geography and History should go forward and
that the remaining PARs should be subject to possible revisions and further evaluation.

2. Adjournment - The meeting concluded at 2:25pm.
