The major activities of the committee were to:
Review mini-PARs and then full PARs, taking into account documentation provided by Institutional Research, and send recommendations to the Provost
In attempt to make the process more transparent, CAP hosted a PAR workshop during Fall 2006. Guidelines were shared and discussed.
The mini-PAR form was revised to allow more flexibility on a two-page form.
Between the mini-PAR and PAR stage, the chair of CAP contacted each department chair who submitted a mini-PAR.
As new part of the PAR review process, CAP met briefly with each department chair.

Review proposed additions or deletions of programs; this year we reviewed documentation for the following programs:
Applied Health Science (new major; approved)
Web Development (new minor; approved)
MIS (new minor; approved)
Entrepreneurship (new minor approved)
Cyber Security (new certificate; approved)
Project Management (new certificate; approved)
Web Design (new concentration in Art Department; approved)
Women and Gender Studies (name change; approved)
This committee coordinates with Course and Curriculum Committee, the Registrar’s office, the Facilities Planning Committee, and the University Planning Council.
The chair wishes to thank all members for their time and effort in completing so much work in a timely fashion. The committee met seventeen times during the 2006-07 academic year.
