The meeting was called to order at 8:05 a.m. by Takata.

Minutes of November 25, 2008 were approved.

 

MATH Program Review 

 

Alexander Lichtman met with CAP to discuss the MATH program review. Lichtman left the meeting at 8:49 a.m.

The committee discussed the review and the major points to be included in our review. Email other points to Takata.

Academic Planning

It was agreed that the Academic Planning Subcommittee will meet on Tuesday, December 16th at 8  a.m.. After this meeting, Eichner will distribute an updated version of the academic plan (to include the notation of “Draft” and the date).  Once an electronic version has been received, Takata will email the draft academic plan with the letter to department chairs/program directors with a revised deadline of February 2, 2009. 

 

2008-09 PARs

 

It was agreed that the full PAR deadline will be February 9, 2009. No new information on the budget will be available until mid- January. Takata and DeVinny will work on the timeline and the PAR criteria will be updated.

 

 

Spring 2009 Meeting Date/Time

 

Takata asked that everyone email their availability for Spring 2009 so that a regular meeting date/time can be set.
