Minutes of the Course and Curriculum Committee
for October 10, 2001

Present: D. Bayuzick, S. Haller, M. Gurtman (Chair), L. Johnson, M. Mullen, E. Wilson. D. Bayuzick arrived late.
Guests: C. Evans, T. Fossum, R. M. Moore

The meeting convened at 12:15 pm in MOLN 222.

The following were approved, as noted:
· GEOL 108. Add Prereq: None. The Committee learned that GEOL 106 and 108 were approved for BOK credit.
· ART 208. (Originally proposed as ART 308). Add Prereq: Sophomore standing. Add to description: "Intended primarily for Elementary certification students. Does not count toward Art major or minor." BOK status for this new version of the course will be sought.
· CSCI 296.

Consideration of SOCA 321 was postponed until the next meeting.

The minutes from the meeting of October 3 were approved without change.

The Committee did not decide on when to meet next. We will wait until proposals accumulate.

The meeting adjourned shortly after 1 pm.
