Minutes of the Committee on Research & Creative Activity
for December 7, 2001

CRCA Met in MOLN D125 at 12 PM on December 7, 2001. Present: Bayuzick, Gurtman, Khan (Chair), Perdikaris, Smith, And Wood.

The Committee reviewed changes made to the CRCA Grant Criteria and agreed to make a few more editorial changes. The new Grant Criteria was approved on the understanding that the changes verbally agreed upon would be added and the final draft would be circulated when ready. The Committee voted uninaminously in favor of the changes to the criteria.

The Committee reviewed proposals and made the following funding:
Ruth Becker - $850 for research project expenses
Simon Akindes - $289 for travel expenses for conference presentation
Tom Sunstrom - $300 for travel expenses to attend a workshop

The Committee also discussed the possibility of organizing a research fair with the Institute of Community Based Learning (ICBL) and decided to have further discussion with Anne Statham, Director of the ICBL, who had made this suggestion to the Committee.
