Minutes of the Graduate Studies Committee
for January 4, 2007

On Thursday, January 4, 2007 the Graduate Studies Committee voted via e-mail to approve the following changes to MBA courses.

MBA 714. Change name from "Introduction to Production/Operations Management" to "Operations Management Principles"

Rationale: This is a foundations course for MBA students who did not have it in their undergrad. curriculum. The new title will be consistent with the undergraduate version of this course.

MBA 715. Change name from "Production/Operations Management" to "Operations Management"

Rationale: This course is required for the MBA degree and is more in- depth than 714. The new title will differentiate MBA 715 from MBA 714.

Affirmative votes were received from committee members Barber, Ebeid, Hansen, Statham, Wang and Wood. No vote was received from Quevedo.
