Minutes of the Instructional Resources Committee
for September 27, 2001

The Information Resources committee met on Thursday, September 27 at 8:00 a.m. in MOLN 367A. Attending: L. Breed, S. Hawk, D. Kaufman, L. McCann and W. Song.

Steve Hawk was elected chair. The committee discussed its agenda for the upcoming academic year.

In order to better understand the priorities being followed by Information Services, it was decided to invite Deann Stone to the next IRC meeting. As part of the enrollment management team, Deann Stone had reviewed the initiatives that were presented by the SIS Users group and presented them to the Technology Advisory Taskforce. The IRC committee members agreed that it would provide a good starting point for their work to get more information about the enrollment management technology recommendations, It was also agreed that the next meeting of the IRC would devote some time getting Tom Peischl 's views on IT priorities for the next few years.

The meeting adjourned at 9:00.
