Minutes of the Personnel Review Committee
for February 12, 2001

The Committee met at 3:20 in 262 CART. Members present were Cloutier, Feldt (Chair), Greenfield, McKeever, McLean, Mohazzabi, Norton, and Schleiter. Khan was absent. Also present was L. Duetsch.

It was confirmed that the next meeting, that of the Full Professor Subcommittee, will be held on Friday, February 16, at 1:00 in 262 CART. The agenda for that meeting will include review of the evidence provided in support of recommendations for the promotions of Sue Norton (Business) and Edward Wallen (Biological Science) to the rank of Professor.

It was MOVED (McLean) and SECONDED (Norton) that the Committee convene inclosed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(b) and (c) for the purpose of reviewing, and then deliberating on, the case that has been advanced by the
Music Department Executive Committee in support of promotion to tenure for James Crowley. MOTION APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY by the members present, with no abstentions.

The Committee arose from closed session and adjourned at 3:40.
