Minutes of the University Committee
for January 25, 2000

The Committee met at 2:05 in 262 CART. Members present were Walter Feldt, Laura Gellott, Fran Kavenik, and Carol Saffioti-Hughes. Also present was Larry Duetsch.

The Committee approved the draft of a call for nominations for the 1999-00 Faculty Distinguished Service Award.

The Secretary of the Faculty distributed materials pertaining to a survey of Faculty opinion concerning the performance of key administrators and the Committee agreed that further discussion should be put off until the next meeting.

The Committee discussed the faculty representation that should be sought on the Steering Committee that Chancellor Keating will soon appoint for the NCA Accreditation and prepared a slate of faculty nominees.
