UW-Parkside University Committee
Minutes of March 7, 2000


The Committee met at 2:05 in 262 CART. Members present were Walter Feldt, Laura Gellott, Fran Kavenik, Carol Lee Saffioti-Hughes, and Lee Van Dyke. James Kinchen was excused. Also present was Larry Duetsch.

The Committee reviewed agenda items for the March 21 meeting of the Faculty Senate. A proposal to create both a certificate program and a concentration within the Music major in Piano Pedagogy and Literature was added to the Senate agenda, as was a request for an entitlement to plan a M.S. program in Integrated Science and Technology.

The Committee agreed on the composition of the selection committee for the Faculty Distinguished Service Award.

Finally, the Committee agreed to procedures for developing the performance reviews for the 1998-99 Committee Chair (January - August 1999), the 1999-00 Committee Chair (August - December 1999), and the Secretary of the Faculty (January - December 1999).
