The Faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside will continue its Spring 1999 meeting at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 11, 1999 in Molinaro Hall D137.

The University Committee has approved the following agenda:

Call to Order by the Chancellor

New Business

Committee of the Whole Discussion regarding formation of an Engaged University Council
A motion to go into a Committee of the Whole will automatically be on the floor. Under UWPF 1.04(3), the Chancellor is the presiding officer for faculty meetings, except during Committee of the Whole discussions, over which the Chair of the University Committee presides.

During the discussion, proponents of the proposed Council will respond to questions and solicit suggestions regarding the role such a Council might play. (See Attachment 1)

The committee of the whole may report recommendations representing a consensus of the meeting as determined by the Chair, or it may rise without report.
