The Faculty Senate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside will meet for its late spring session on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in Molinaro Hall room D132.  The University Committee has approved the following agenda:

The University Committee received three questions regarding the strategic planning process.

1.  Faculty in general and especially faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences are not proportionately represented on the strategic planning leadership team.  How might this affect the outcome of the process and the acceptance of the final plan by the faculty?

2.  Is the strategic plan likely to result in a shift away from traditional liberal arts and sciences programs and toward more applied programs?

3.  Given that the planning process is scheduled to be completed in June, how will the plan be shared with the campus community for comment and input before it is finalized?
