How much does the event cost?
Adult: $20 through April 22 and $25 thereafter
Student: $12 through April 22 and $17 thereafter.
Ages 11 and under are free.
(A student is someone ages 12-18 or under, or someone with a valid college
I. D.)
How do I sign up?
To sign up for BPC, you may do so online at Active.com or mail
the waiver and registration form to the address in the brochure, or drop
of the registration and waiver form to the SAC main office between 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday until April 29, 2011. Alternatively, you
can
register in person at the course on race day by 9:30 a.m.
Why do I have to sign up early to receive a T-shirt?
We send the t-shirts to a vendor, so the orders must be finalized
two weeks prior to the event.
What sizes are available for the Bear Paws for a Cause T-shirts?
Youth-medium and large.
Adult-small, medium, large, XL XXL

What is Age Graded Scoring?
Age grading is a way of putting all race participants on a level playing
field, regardless of age or gender. Age-graded scores compare your race times
to an ideal time for your age and gender. (see 'age graded scoring')
Where can I see my results?
On race day results will be posted at the race course. Later you
can check back on the Bear Paws website.
Can I make a donation without participating in the event?
Absolutely! Donations can be made through active.com; or by filling
out the "Non-Participant" section on the registration form and
returning the donation and form by either mailing them in or dropping them
off.
Where can I park for the event?
Parking for Bear Paws for a Cause is available in the UW Parkside
Communication Arts Parking lot located northeast of the cross country course
and on campus. Entrance is off University Drive.
Are dogs allowed?
We love dogs, but unfortunately they are not permitted on the course. At
this time only bears are allowed, well, only Ranger Bear!
What is the turf like on the course?
The ground can be muddy. Wear your old shoes.
