Event Reviews
We appreciate the feedback our participants provide us! Here is a sample.
Comments contributed on the 2011 post-race participant survey:
- “I enjoy this event, even though I just walk it. It’s a beautiful walk through the fields and woods, even when it is muddy! Thanks for all your hard work!”
- “I did not like the age “handicap” because runners peak when they are older (mid 20’s and 30’s) usually.
- See the “Age Grading” off the top of our web page for why we chose age grading for this race.
- “My family and I had a great time. The students did such a good job and were very helpful. We definitely will do it again.”
- “Perhaps a water station somewhere on the route.”
- We can definitely add that for 2012!
- “Better signage for parking for first-timers”.
- We will work on getting better directional signs and more volunteers pointing the way!
- “Clocks at the mile markers (mile 1 and 2).
- We’d love to do that, but our resources are limited. Did you hear our race volunteers who were calling out the times at the 1k and 2k spots?

- A cold, blustery day, not much you can do about that! This is a challenging course for me with lots of hills (seems like they're all uphill, none down!), but I enjoy the walk through the woods and meadows. I bettered my time from last year by almost 15 minutes. Looking forward to participating again next year. Thanks for holding this event!
