All instructors are certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. A certified lifeguard is on duty at all times during swim lessons. Our summer swim camp has 3-two week sessions. Each lesson is 50 minutes followed by 10 minutes of free time and you may enroll your child in more than one session.

Session 1: June 17-28
Session 2: July 1-July 12 (no class July 4th)
Session 3: July 15-26
Rates:
Session I, $90.00 per person per session.
Session II, $81.00 per person. (no class July 4th)
Session III, $90 per person per session.
We accept cash, checks or money orders only.
Class Periods:
Period A: 8:30-9:30 AM, Levels I & II
Period B: 9:40-10:40 AM, Level II & III
Period C: 10:50-11:50 AM, Levels IV, Level V & Level VI
Confirmation: We will not be sending confirmation letters. We will call you if there is an enrollment problem.
Enrollment Policy: Enrollment is on a first-come basis and limited
to the first 30 students per period. We will keep a wait list and children
will be enrolled if spaces open up. *Full payment is required with you
application. The minimum age is 3.5 years provided they can follow directions
in a structured environment. Our student to teacher ratio is 10:1
Minimum Age: All children should be at least 3.5 years old by the start of swim lessons. Over the years we have found this to be the best age for the them in a 50 minute class setting.
Recommended Equipment: Swim goggles for level 2 and higher and
a swim cap for long hair.
Refunds for injury, illness: After the first day of class,
no refunds will be issued unless your child misses 5 or more days at which
point we will refund half of your payment but keep $25.00 (administrative
fee). In place of a refund you can apply your payment for a future class
it must be used within 6 months otherwise you will forfeit your payment.
You will not get a refund if there is a price difference.
Pool Closures: Classes will not be made up and refunds will
be given for the days missed.
American Red Cross Learn to Swim Level Descriptions:
Level 1, Non-swimmers, water adjustment for fearful children, unable to put their face in the water. Needs support.
Level 2, Pass Level I, can float on front and back, put their head underwater and some swimming ability without support.
Level 3, Pass Level II, must be able to swim using the front crawl for 20 feet, on back for 20 feet, can float on front and back and can roll over..
Level 4, Pass Level III, Can swim the front crawl and elementary backstroke for 15 yds. and dolphin kick 10 feet.
Level 5, Pass Level IV, Can perform the front crawl, backstroke, breatstroke and sidestroke kick, butterfly, and elementary backstroke for 25 yards.
Level 6, Pass Level V or can perform level V strokes
for longer distances.
*We reserve the right to move children into an appropriate class.
*Period B, Level II is for parents who have a child in both level II
& III or Level II & Period C. Please fill the 8:30 time slot
if you have 1 child in Level II.
Each camper will be able to swim during their 2-week lesson. Siblings
and friends may swim for $2.00 per person during that time and parents
are free.
