This is a classified, non-represented position. Because this is a title that is covered by broadbanding rules, staff in the following counterpart pay ranges are eligible to apply:
- WSEU/Administrative Support - Pay Ranges 02-07 through 02-11
- Non-Represented titles - Pay Ranges 81-05
- WSEU/Blue Collar & Non-Building Trades - Pay Ranges 03-07 through 3-11
- WSEU/Technical - 06-07 through 06-11
- WPEC/Fiscal & Staff Services - Pay Ranges 07-05

Job duties: In addition to general office support duties, as a Human Resources Assistant your duties could include: coordinating the hiring process with administrative staff; preparing newspaper ads and other recruitment materials; contacting applicants and answering their questions regarding interviews, potential vacancies, the hiring process and other personnel policies and procedures. Job knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to understand and apply state human resources rules, regulations and procedural guidelines; data analysis techniques; computational skills, general record-keeping procedures and effective oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Special Qualifications: Computer Skills needed: Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel, and Outlook email.
Salary: Pay will be based on the rules that apply to compensation upon transfer, reinstatement, or voluntary demotion transactions. This is a broadbanded position that will start between $13.160-$21.74 per hour.
