The University of Wisconsin-Parkside has an opening for a second or third shift (hours flexible) Police Sergeant (working title Patrol Sergeant).  UW-Parkside is located in Kenosha and has over 5,000 students, 700 employees and encompasses more than 700 acres.

Salary:  Starting salary is from $48,756 to $62,000 annually, plus excellent benefits.  Pay Schedule/Range 56-01.

How to Apply:  The application/examination packet you will be returning to the UW-Parkside Human Resources Office should contain the following materials:
 

The first step in the selection process consists of completing the Objective Inventory Questionnaire.  The Objective Inventory Questionnaire is a civil service examination and will be scored.  This provides you and all other candidates the opportunity to describe your relevant experience.  You will be notified of your exam results about one to two weeks after the closing date.  Those who are most qualified will be invited to the next stage of the hiring process. 

The Veterans Preference Supplement and Disabled Expanded Certification Verification forms should be completed if they apply to you and you have not already submitted them to the Office of State Employment Relations.  Please read all instructions for these forms carefully on OSER’s website.
