Academic Department Associate

The University of Wisconsin Parkside currently has an Academic Department Associate position shared vacancy in the History, Psychology and Economics Departments.
Salary: Pay Schedule/Pay Range: 02-11. Pay will be based on the rules that apply to compensation upon transfer, reinstatement or voluntary demotion transactions; pay will not be less than the minimum of the pay range, $15.258/hr. A six-month permissive probation period may be required.
Job Duties: The primary duties for the Academic Department Associate for the History, Psychology and Economics Departments include: administratively assist with policies and procedures, resolve operational problems for staff & students, prepare data and manage correspondence for chair, serve as the first point of contact for departments, assist with faculty recruitment, plan travel arrangements for staff and audit travel expenses, and be the purchasing agent for the departments. This position is also responsible for monitoring the operating budget, tracking funds, reviewing salaries, fringes and overhead expenses and reconciling monthly budget expenditures.
