Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

 

The School of Business and Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting beginning August 2012.  The undergraduate Business and MBA programs are accredited by the AACSB International.  The School offers baccalaureate programs in Business, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science.  The Business program supports concentrations in accounting, finance, human resources management, marketing, and general business.  There are approximately 690 business majors and 100 MBA students.  The School has 22 FTE faculty and academic staff.  Well-known firms such as S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., Case New Holland (CNH), Jockey International, Diversey, and Snap-On Inc. are located minutes from the University.  Other firms such as Harley-Davidson, Johnson Controls, Northwestern Mutual, Abbott Laboratories, and Cardinal health are located in nearby Milwaukee and Northern Illinois.  The standard teaching load for all full-time faculty is 21 credits per academic year, as indicated in UWPF policy.
