Assistant or Associate Mathematics Professor

The Mathematics Department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in Mathematics to begin August 26, 2012.  The Mathematics Department offers Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics with options in General Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and teaching mathematics in elementary, secondary, and post-secondary schools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaching a full range of undergraduate mathematics courses
• Conducting research and publishing in research journals
• Engaging in service to the students, department of mathematics, university and community

QUALIFICATIONS

        Required

• PhD in Mathematics
• Demonstrated interest in teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside

Salary:

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The University of Wisconsin System provides a liberal benefits package, including participation in a state pension plan.
