The Center for International Studies is responsible for coordinating all international activities at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
The Center:

| The UW-Parkside Study Tour to Ghana visits a weaving compound in Kumasi, Ghana, where kente cloth is woven. |
- Administers the International Studies program, including a major and minor in International Studies and a Global Skills Certificate
- Seeks to incorporate global perspectives into all aspects of the UW-Parkside curriculum
- Oversees Study Abroad activities, including study tours, study abroad advising, and exchanges
- Works with faculty conducting research and creative activity in international studies
- Provides campus and community outreach programs on international issues including a Lecture Series and the Evening In program
- Houses International Student Services, providing advising and assistance to international students at UW-Parkside.
CIS serves as an information clearinghouse for international activities and study abroad opportunities.
The Director of the Center oversees the Center’s activities in coordination with the Steering Committee. The International Programming Coordinator is responsible for study abroad and international student advising.
