Attend a Pre-Departure Orientation

Pre-departure orientation helps prepare students for a meaningful and successful study-travel abroad experience through the following objectives:

Provide essential practical information
Motivate participants to learn more about their host culture and themselves as U.S. citizens
Assist participants to develop cross-cultural sensitivity and become familiar with the process of cross-cultural adaptation
Assist participants to better understand the world
Encourage participants to connect academic objectives to long-term goals.
