Interlibrary loan is a service that allows UW-Parkside students, faculty, and staff to borrow research materials that are not available in the UW-Parkside Library. These materials include books, CDs, DVDs, and videos that are not found in the UW-System, and photocopies of journal, magazine and newspaper articles.

Before placing an interlibrary loan request, you should always do the following:

1. Check the UW-Parkside library catalog to be sure the materials are not owned by the university.

2. Check that the books, DVDs, CDs and videos are NOT available through UW System Search by using the Multi Library Search in the library catalog.
