After choosing materials, you must use then in a way that respects the intellectual property rights of others. This comes down to:

      • avoiding plagiarism
      • citing your sources
      • respecting copyright law

We'll spend the rest of this module discussing these important issues. Ignorance is not bliss here. Even if you don't understand what plagiarism or copyright law are, you are still responsible for acts of intellectual theft or fraud (academic dishonesty) found in your work.
