- when you request a restricted resource, you will be automatically redirected through the proxy server
- you will be asked for a username and password - these are your UW-Parkside email login and password. Information about activating your campus email account may be obtained in the computer labs.
- Some databases, such as the UW-Parkside Library Catalog, the catalogs of other libraries and some government sites, are unrestricted.
- Off campus access often is not available for those coming from behind corporate firewalls. If you are denied access in such cases, the company's system administrator should be contacted.
