David Bayles

David Bayles, percussion instructor, has performed with Steve Allen, Richie Cole, Richard Davis, Denis DiBlasio, Slide Hampton, David Hazeltine, Brian Lynch, Frank Mantooth, Jack McDuff, Frank Morgan, James Moody, Melvin Rhyne, Bobby Shew, Jim Snidero, Marvin Stamm and more. In addition, David has performed at the Rome Festival Orchestra (Rome, Italy) and the 1997 Chicago Jazz Festival.

As a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, David earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts Music Education. He is currently teaching percussion at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Milwaukee Public Schools, and is the Percussion Chairperson of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. David is an artist/clinician for the Yamaha Musical Instrument Corporation and the Zildjian Cymbal Company.
