Mark Eichner

Professor Eichner

Mark Eichner is Conductor of Bands at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where he also serves as trumpet instructor. He performs regularly with the Waukesha Symphony Orchestra and in the chamber music performances of BrassWorks. He has performed in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Florentine Opera, Present Music, Brass Band of Battle Creek, Milwaukee Bach Society, Bel Canto Chorus and Orchestra, Skylight Opera, Woodstock Mozart Festival, Wisconsin Wind Orchestra, Pamiro Opera of Green Bay, Milwaukee Choristers, and the Racine, Kenosha, and Waukegan Symphony Orchestras. In 1993, he was a recitalist at the prestigious Dame Myra Hess Concerts in Chicago. Mr. Eichner earned the Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees at the University of Texas. He studied conducting with Thomas Lee and Robert Reynolds, and studied trumpet with J. Frank Elsass and Richard Metzger.
