James Sodke

James Sodke, pianist, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He currently teaches at the Lakeshore Conservatory of Music in Racine, Wisconsin. As an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, he teaches Jazz Fundamentals, Music Business, and Jazz Appreciation/History.

Sodke has performed with many outstanding entertainers such as Lou Rawls, Gladys Knight, Diane Schuur, Lee Greenwood and Frankie Valie. A freelance musician in the Milwaukee and Chicago area, Jim has performed in such Broadway musicals as 42nd Street, LaCage Aux Folles, Grease, and Chorus Line.
