Math and Science Scholars (MASS) is a career enrichment program that introduces students to the higher levels of math and science fields. Workshops focus on careers in math and science and the high school courses needed to make such careers a reality. Students develop and maintain a portfolio of a math or science interests, shadow professionals, and take field trips to colleges. Saturday sessions are held during the school year, and a one-week day camp is held in July. After completing the program, students will aspire to take advance math and science courses in high school that will prepare them to be successful in higher education.
