The student's record is confidential and is not released from the university except with proper authorization from the student.
An official transcript of a student’s record is issued only by the Office of the Registrar. An official transcript includes all undergraduate, graduate and professional courses. University of Wisconsin-Parkside has partnered with Credentials Solutions, Inc. to provide a fast and secure online transcript ordering service that is available to our students/alumni 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The student can order a transcript at any time, even if there is an outstanding financial obligation to UW-Parkside, however, it won’t be processed until the obligation has been met and the related hold on the student’s record is released by UW-Parkside. When a hold is on the student’s record, they have 30 days to clear the hold or the transcript request will be purged, requiring the student to submit a new request once the hold has been cleared.
The UW-Parkside Registrar’s Office is the official custodian of the permanent academic records for the following colleges that are no longer in existence. The Registrar’s Office does not assume responsibility for the information contained on the records other than to verify that the transcripts are copies of the original records received. Requests must be made separately for each institution. The same fees and request process apply to these transcripts.
Name Changes
If your name has changed and you would like your UW-Parkside official transcript to reflect the change, you must select "Hold until name change processed" under "Tell us when to release your transcript(s)" when ordering your transcript, or wait to order until the change has been processed. Submit Your Transcript Order on Campus:
At UW-Parkside you can use one of the Transcript Kiosks at the Registrar/Student Records Office. At the kiosk you will still have the option of paying by credit/debit card, but you will also have the additional option of paying by cash, check or money orders. If you are paying by cash, check or money order, make note of the order number and give it to the Registrar/Student Records Office staff along with payment and picture ID.

Unofficial transcripts have the same information as an official transcript, but they are printed on plain paper and are not certified. They are available to students if there is no outstanding financial obligation. Students access them by logging into their SOLAR account. The Unofficial Transcript is a choice on the other academic drop down list in the Academics section of the Student Center. An unofficial transcript may also be obtained with a picture ID (via fax, email or in person) through the Advising & Career Center in WYLL D175, AdvisingCenter@uwp.edu, or 262-595-2040.
