Official Transcripts
An official transcript of a student's record is issued only by the Office of the Registrar and only with the student's WRITTEN request and signature. No transcripts are released (except when requested by advisers or administrative officials within the University) without the permission of the student. An official transcript will not be issued until all financial obligations owed the University have been met.
UW-Parkside also holds the records for the following colleges that are no longer in existence. The same fees and request process apply to these transcripts as apply to UW-Parkside's transcripts.
- College of Racine (Formerly Dominican College)
- Mount St. Paul College
- St. Luke's School of Nursing
Fees
Transcripts can be paid for with cash, check, MasterCard or Visa. The fee varies depending on mailing method requested.
- $8.00 - The transcript will be mailed within 5 working days of the receipt of the request.
- $12.00 - The transcript will be sent by first class mail within 24 hours of receipt of the request.
- $30.00 - The transcript will be sent by express mail (must be requested by noon). This fee covers the cost of overnight delivery. Since delivery cannot be made to a post office box, a complete street address with zip code must be provided.
Requesting a Transcript
These are the ways that a student can request an official transcript:
- In person by stopping at the Office of the Registrar (Student Records) to complete a transcript request form and pay the appropriate fee.
- Via mail or fax by downloading the transcript request form and paying by check (mail) or credit card (mail or fax).
Unofficial Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts are available to students for advising purposes. They have all the same information as an official transcript but are printed on white paper. An unofficial transcript is obtained in person with a picture ID only from the Advising Center in WYLL 107 and is not provided to students who have an outstanding financial obligation.
