To complete the AS students need to have 9 hours each in the Social Sciences and Humanities/Fine Arts with courses taken from two areas each.
The above outline meets CLC's AS requirements for which UW-Parkside will waive their Competency Skills and Breadth of Knowledge requirements. Students may transfer up to 72 credit hours.
It is very difficult to complete this preparation within a two year time period, most
students will take much longer to complete majors within this program. Completion of the
Organic Chemistry is essential prior to taking upper division courses at Parkside. The program
suggested above may be altered based on students' math placement. UW-Parkside suggests two
semesters of calculus.
In addition to the above course listing, CLC's MTH 222 fulfulls the UW-Parkside Biological Sciences core requirement for Biostatistics BIOS 210, and CLC's Bio 221 (General Zoology) and Bio 222 (General Botany) transfers as electives for the UW-Parkside Biological Sciences Major.
