CLC Courses Equivilant to UW-Parkside Teacher Education Requirements
Students who earn an Associate Degree from the College of Lake County and plan to enter the Teacher Education program at UW-Parkside must still meet the following General Education requirements unless they can demonstrate competency through testing.
Academic Major
All students must complete an academic major approved for teacher education students. Please contact the Teacher Education Advisor at UWP 262-595-2100 for more information on how to start your academic major at CLC.
Competency Skills
Reading and Writing: ENG 122 or higher with a "C" or better
Computational Skills: MTH 108 with a "C" or better

- 2 years of high school foreign language at the "C" level or better

sequences:
- SPA 121 and SPA 122
- GER 121 and GER 122
- FRN 121 and FRN 122
