Hello, and welcome to the Student Activities site! I am the Student Activities Coordinator. I advise the Parkside Activites Board (PAB), I plan some of the events for Student Activites, like Fall Fest, Ranger Wellness Challenge, Final Stretch, and Spirit Week. I also assist with the Leadership Program events and organization training and development. If you are interested in getting involved on campus or want to contribute to the events on campus stop by and see me! I really enjoy meeting and talking to students. I have been involved in Student Activites since I was an undergraduate at UW - La Crosse. I started as an Alpha Phi and had so much fun i decided to make a career out of higher education! I stayed at UW - La Crosse and got my Masters degree in College Student Development and Administration. While in graduate school I interned at Montclair State in New Jersey Working on orientation and first year seminar curriculum. I liked the East Coast so much I accepted a job in Maryland after graduate school at Mount St. Mary's University. I worked in the Campus Activites Office. I advised student orgs, including, Campus Activites Board and Student Government, and worked with Orientation. I am very happy to be here at UW - Parkside. I have been here since August and have felt very welcomed by the community. In my spare time I like to cook, spend time with family and friends, and I design and create jewelry and accessories. We look forward to the opportunity of helping you get involved, develop your leadership skills and help you create your UW-Parkside success story. I have been involved in Activities work for about 6 years. I love the nonstop action, energy and ideas students bring to the table each and every year! There is nothing more rewarding then hearing a student story about a successful event...be sure to stop by and let us help you write your story. A little about me...I'm an avid cook, sports fan and music aficionado. I Believe there is no limit to what one can accomplish and feel that it is everyone's duty to promise only what they can deliver and deliver more than they promise. Adiós! Arrivederci! Au Revoir! Terri joined Student Activities in 2008. Although new to the education system she has brought a wealth of experience from over 40 years of service in the private sector. A background in Project Management, Human Resources, Corporate Meeting Planning, Executive Administration and Inside Sales has prepared her for the myriad opportunities occurring in University Activities on a daily basis. Terri truly enjoys interacting with students, faculty and staff. When not at her desk in University Activites Terri can be found relaxing with her family and friends and a greyhound or two! | ||
