Purpose:
The Student Activities Office seeks to promote active involvement in student organizations, activities, and University governance by offering two $1500 Student Leadership Scholarships. The scholarships will be given to two current undergraduate student leaders intending to continue at UW-Parkside.
Criteria:
Ideal candidates have made contributions to the enrichment of the campus community through active enrollment in cocurricular activities. The recipients will have demonstrated individual initiative, creativity, responsibility, cooperation, and leadership ability. Applicants for the Leadership Scholarship must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Application Information:
Applicants should complete the UW-Parkside Undergraduate Scholarsip Application and answer the 4 additional questions for the student leadership scholarships. Applications are available in the Student Activities, Financial Aid and Admissions offices. Students may reapply for the scholarship in subsequent years; however, the scholarship will be awarded a maximum of two times to the same recipient.
Submit the application and two (2) letters of recommendation to the Scholarship Office in Wyllie 3309 by February 2, 2012.
