PHE stands for Peer Health Educator. The PHE program is housed with Student Health & Counseling Services at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and affiliated with the nation-wide BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network.
The program is based on a philosophy of wellness aimed at education students on current health and social issues through a positive peer model approach.
The PHE staff is a program manager, two student-captains, and eight student-members. New and returning members must apply and be accepted for the position every year.
To apply, students must have theses minimum qualifications:
- Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Sophomore status or above
- Leadership skills
- Positive role model
- Desire to educate peers

- Love Carefully
- Safe Spring Break
- Stress Relief
