Do I Need Help?

This section contains links to organizations that can help you think about a potential substance abuse problem. They offer interactive questionnaires about your alcohol and/or substance use. All of these assessments are completely confidential: no one will see your answers but you. These sites only offer tools to help you better understand substance abuse. If you think that you or someone you know might have a problem with substance abuse, PLEASE GET HELP!

The Comprehensive College Initiative
Online screening and self assessment for alcohol problems as well as other mental health issues.

Self-Scoring Alcohol Check-Up
The Self-Scoring Alcohol Check-up will help you examine your drinking from a number of perspectives: quantity consumed, situations in which consumption occurs, severity of consequences and a number of other variables. Each section is followed by a paragraph or two of "feedback" which will help you make sense out of your responses.

Alcohol Screening Self Assessment
This self-assessment tool is designed to assist you in understanding your use of alcohol. This assessment is not interactive so you need to either print the page or write your answers down.
