What Does A Project Success Learning Community Look Like?

The Project Success Learning Community is organized around a connecting theme based on the following models:

 

Path A with Spring

Summer A: (Start Right Theme): Reading (the first part of the course) + Composition (the first part of the course) + College Success Seminars.

Fall A: (Building Foundations of Excellence): (for student participating in the summer bridge program) Reading (the second part of the course) + Composition (the second part of the course) + College/Life Skills Success Seminars + Elementary Algebra + Critical Reading + other courses of the students choice to complete the full-time schedule.

-OR-

Path B with Spring

Fall B: (Building Foundations of Excellence Theme): (for students NOT participating in the summer bridge program) Reading + Composition + College/Life Skills Success Seminars + Critical Reading + Elementary Algebra + other courses of the students choice to complete the full-time schedule.

Spring

Spring: (Exploring New Opportunities Theme): College Algebra Math + Career Seminars + other courses of the student’s choice to complete the full-time schedule.

A fall semester second-year Student Support Services learning community experience is also included with the following courses: Environmental Science + Library Skills for Research + other courses of your choice to complete your full-time schedule.

Courses offered in the Project Success Learning Community fulfill general education and/or major requirements.
