Advising
Students are encouraged to choose an academic major and certification program early in their college careers.
Initially, it may be necessary for new students with undeclared majors to seek advising from the Advising and Testing Center.
Students who have decided on a major will work with the faculty liaison in their academic major department and a teacher education advisor to identify goals, verify requirements and develop course plans. Students must meet with both advisors every semester and are responsible for participating in information sessions and other workshops to stay current on changes that may apply to them. For advising appointments, please call 262-595-2100.
What to Bring to Advising- A tentative list of courses you would like to take

- Your most recent DARS report (degree seeking students). May be obtained from the Advising office or the Teacher Education department.
- Most recent copies of all college transcripts including UW-Parkside (post-baccalaureate students)
- A list of questions and/or concerns
