Teaching, the act of sharing knowledge, skills, and dispositions with others, is one of the most rewarding and challenging professions.
Teacher Education at the University of Wisconsin Parkside is unique. Situated within the College of Arts and Sciences, this rapidly growing unit facilitates the belief that preparing teachers is a university-wide responsibility. To this end teaching and learning is imbedded across the campus from young children at the Child Care Center to our charter school partners at 21st Century Preparatory School and the many other areas of service and outreach.
Our pledge to students is to prepare them for an ever-changing diverse society and to build a firm foundation for their future as educators. We value the communities we serve and accept the reciprocal role of receiving your students, training them well, and sending them back to serve as leaders in multicultural communities.
