SENCER at UW-Parkside - About
SENCER is a program developed by the National Center for Science Education, and funded by the National Science Foundation.
The focus of the SENCER team at UW-Parkside is course development and re-designs for science courses in the newly-approved Liberal Arts for Elementary Teachers program. Upper level courses in the program have been drafted to incorporate environmental themes-Energy and Environmental Justice-as a way to merge natural and social sciences with pedagogy.
