Since 1968, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside has continued to build a reputation as an outstanding liberal arts institution with particularly strong fine arts programs. As we now undertake the remodeling and expansion of our Communication Arts Building, our state-of-the-art instructional facilities and stunning, new performance venues will match our award-winning academic programs and provide even greater community access.
Architects Hammel, Green & Abrahamson, Inc. have developed an impressive plan that will add 72,000 square feet to the existing 107,000 square foot Communication Arts building and will substantially remodel portions of Molinaro and Wyllie Halls.
As the newest and largest facility of this type in the area, we look forward to accommodating more students with interest in our fine arts programs, but also more community members to participate in, and enjoy, outstanding music, theatre, and art exhibitions.
Through the incredible generosity of donors like Frances E. Bedford, our students and community will now have a beautiful new space dedicated solely to music performance. It is fully expected that the Frances E. Bedford Concert Hall will become one of the greatest performance venues in the region. We look forward to partnering with other individuals like you to discuss additional naming opportunities.
