"We are opening this audition to members of the community, especially children and male barbershop singers," Yohnk stated. "We don't see ourselves casting a huge number of community adults but we are looking about a dozen children between the ages of 8 and 16 years as well as men who enjoy and excel at barbershop-style singing."

Hill, posing as a music teacher, has the town in the palm of his handuntil love teaches him a thing or two. The winner of six Tony Awards, "The Music Man" is filled with romance, comedy, song, and dance.
The audition is held in the Main Theatre of the Communication Arts Building on the UW-Parkside campus located at 900 Wood Rd., Kenosha. Those who audition are asked to present one minute of a prepared song. Readings from the script and dance auditions will immediately follow. Callbacks are Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Main Theatre.
