Our Students: Anne Walaszek, Mike Zimmerman
UW-Parkside graduate Anne Walaszek (Theatre Arts, '12) is interning at the costume shop of the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. She also contributes half of the upcoming FreshINK staged reading Feb. 22-24. Her play "Cupid, Stung by a Bee," an adaptation of the rocky mythological relationship between the god Cupid and the mortal woman Psyche, is presented for three performances. The other half of the playbill was written by Theatre Arts major Michael Zimmerman. His story "Final Bow" explores the struggles of a growing sketch comedy troupe. Both original scripts are presented Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. in Studio A of the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts and Humanities.
