The Augie Wegner Studio Theatre

Originally constructed as a TV studio this 30' x 36' space is used for shows and showcases with less expansive production budgets. It provides an intimate and totally adaptable venue that stresses fundamental acting/directing and design work for our faculty and students. It is fully equipped with an Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) "Expression" lighting control board and 80 dimmer/circuit connectors allowing for the use of over 100 lighting instruments. Movable risers and chairs make the space extremely flexible. Limited resources do not signify limited imagination, in the past it has been used as a disco, a diner, a swamp, Ireland, and last year it held a swimming pool.
