Higher One provides university refund management and banking services to colleges and universities, and their students, across the US since 2002. To date, Higher One has disbursed more than a billion dollars in refunds for its university clients. More than 375,000 students, faculty, and staff at distinguished public and private universities use Higher One's services through their ID or refund card. To date Higher One has about 36 clients. The company has grown to 52 employees, 33+ university customers and 127, 000 student bank accounts. Sean Glass projects 2006 sales of more than $18 million, and hopes to grow Higher One into a $100 million company by 2008. Higher One provides
UW-Parkside refund management services and banking services to the campus
community through a Ranger Card-based solution. Higher One's integrated
solution helps UW-Parkside reduce administrative cots, streamline business
processes, create new revenue streams, increase student customer service
and strengthen the campus community. Higher One's refund service, OnceDisburse,
provides students with more choices and better service for receiving
financial refunds. Higher One also offers a suite of banking services
called OneFinance, which includes the OneAcount, a no minimum balance,
no monthly fee checking account with the convenience of Debit MasterCard
and exclusive features such as Send Money, Easy Refund, and Campus AutoLoad.
The OneFinance and the OneDisburse solutions are integrated with the
Ranger ID card.
