DINING DOLLARS

What are Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars is a specialized account attached to your Ranger OneCard
that contains your meal plan funds, which can be used at any of the
4 convenient on-campus dining locations.
How
Does the Plan Work?
To pay for a meal, you simply hand your Ranger OneCard to the cashier,
who will verify the picture.Tell the cashier that you are paying
for the meal with your 'dining dollars'. The cashier will swipe
the Ranger OneCard through a card reader and the dollar amount will
automatically be deducted from the balance. |

The meal plan cost includes an enrollment fee to cover basic costs such
as rent, utilities, dining room staff salaries, fringes and other services
required to provide a full dining room operation (The Parkside Café)
and the Ranger Card administrative fee. The remaining money is added
to your dining plan to be spent at any of the dining locations on campus.
You will realize the greatest value from your dining plan by eating
in the Parkside Café because as a meal plan customer you are
entitled to purchase as much as you wish in the Parkside Café
at a 50% discount from regular prices. Money on your card may be used
at other campus dining locations at full price. In addition, as a dining
plan customer you do not pay sales tax on your purchases.
If at any time you would like to check the balance of your plan, you
can have a cashier check your balance or stop by the Ranger Card Office
(proper identification is required) or visit the Online
Card Office.
