Higher OneAccount Features

Convenience of banking connected to your ID card: the Ranger OneAccount

The Higher OneAccount is an FDIC insured checking account that you access with your Ranger Card. The OneAccount can serve as a primary bank account, allowing cardholders to get cash from ATMs, write checks, send and receive money electronically and monitor your account online. Perhaps most importantly, you can receive your financial aid refunds and payroll checks electronically through this new system. Simplify your life and choose the Easy refund!

Remember, it’s not a credit card. If you choose to open a OneAccount and deposit funds, you can use your Ranger Card as a DEBIT card wherever MasterCard is accepted. This enables you to use your Ranger Card to complete transactions anywhere, anytime! You are under no obligation to activate the account. However, it does offer many conveniences.

Benefits of using the Higher OneAccount include:
•No monthly fee, no minimum balance banking
•No fee ATM withdrawals at machines located on campus
•The Ranger Card can be used to make debit purchases wherever MasterCard is accepted
•You can receive university refunds quicker and easier than other way
•Family and friends can send money electronically to your account simply and easily
•You can use the simple and powerful online statement to keep track of spending
•You can set up auto transfer of funds to your Campus Cash. This feature is called Campus Autoload.
•UW-Parkside employees can sign up for direct deposit of university payroll with two clicks
•You can also write checks, send and receive money electronically, and monitor your accounts online.
