What is your favorite quote? “I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. “ – Vince Lombardi

Can you recommend a good book and why? Moneyball. An easy read that provides you with a alternate view at the inner-workings of Major League Baseball and leads to open discussions of strategies and tactics of the game itself.

Who is your role model and why? My father and Theo Epstein (Boston Red Sox GM). Both individuals in their own way have been successful in their lives. I try to live my life the way they have lead theirs and follow in their footsteps as best as I can. They are well-educated men who have solid values and live life the right way. I strive to be like them.

What leadership skills or accomplishment(s) are you most proud of? Eagle Scout Award. To me this award embodies how I try to live my life and I follow the values of this award in my daily routine.

What is the best part about being a member/leader of? The best thing about being a part of the Sport and Fitness Management Club, was being able resurrect the club with great teamwork, set the groundwork, and build a solid foundation for the club. I firmly believe that I will leaving the organization in good hands.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your leadership position? The most rewarding aspect is being able to teach others within your organization to become leaders and to be able to watch them grow. The teamwork that has grown within the club is also very rewarding.

What do you want your legacy at UW-Parkside to be? A good man. A good friend. And individual who got things done. Plain and Simple.

If you were recruiting students to attend UW-Parkside, what would you tell them? It’s a university that is dedicated to the student with individuals that know you on a first name basis and our willing to help you at any cost. UW-Parkside is a people first campus that just happens to give you a good education.

Why do you think it is important to get involved? I feel that it is important to get involved to be able to network and connect with others all while being able to groom your leadership skills that you will use in the future.
